Marc J. Noreau serves as the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of Consolidated Recovery Group Inc. and Managing Partner at Consolidated Legal Services LLP. With over 35 years of legal experience, Marc is a leading expert in commercial and retail collections litigation, asset-based financing recovery, and mortgage enforcement. His deep understanding of enforcement and recovery law has made him a trusted advisor to lenders, credit grantors, and financial institutions across Canada.
As CLO of CRG, Marc oversees the company’s legal strategy, working closely with compliance and governance teams to ensure regulatory excellence. His leadership plays a pivotal role in driving CRG’s growth and operational efficiency. Simultaneously, as Managing Partner at Consolidated Legal Services LLP, he leads a team of legal professionals, fostering innovation while delivering strategic solutions to complex legal challenges.
Marc has successfully litigated cases at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Throughout his career, he has held key legal positions in private practice, publicly traded companies, and government roles. Notably, he served as Chief Legal Officer for the Nunavut Court of Justice, Public Guardian and Trustee for the territory, and Assistant Deputy Minister for the Department of Justice in Nunavut.
